Connect ONE or TWO Door Phones To Your Ordinary Single Telephone Line. Our DOOR STATION Line Sharers are specifically designed to operate with your ordinary (residential type) PSTN Telephone Line. You can then connect ONE or TWO of our range of Surface Mount or Flush Mount DOOR PHONES direct to the DOOR STATION Line Sharer. Then when the Call Button of either Door Phone is activated, our DS Line Sharer will RING all telephones connected to your telephone line, with a different ring, to advise you that you have a visitor at your front door or gate. Simply answer any telephone (including your cordless phone) and you are then connected direct to your Door Phone, so that you can speak to your visitor and even let them in. Touch Tone Lock Control is also provided. Model DS2 provides for control of ONE LOCK and Models DS3 and DS6 provide for control of TWO LOCKS. Lock TWO can alternatively be used to START and STOP a VIDEO DEVICE and/or TURN ON and TURN OFF a LIGHT at the initiation and completion of the Door Phone call. Automatic DIAL OUT to your Mobile Telephone (or to any pre-programmed number) is provided for with our Model DS6 Line Sharer. LOCK CONTROL - Our DOOR STATION Line Sharer models DS2, DS3 and DS6 provide LOCK CONTROL facilities that can be used to control a separate Door Release Mechanism. Door Release Mechanisms are not included with the DOOR STATION Line Sharer, due to the differing requirements of each installation. Your dealer can arrange for the fitting of a suitable release mechanism, which will operate from the Line Sharer’s dry relay contact output (rated at 1Amp / 12 Volts). ADSL OPERATION - Our Door Station Line Sharer is fully compatible with the use of ADSL on the same telephone line. Where ADSL is used on the same telephone line, it is ESSENTIAL to fit a SINGLE High Quality ADSL filter immediately ahead of the DOOR STATION Line Sharer Controller (Models DS1, DS2, DS3or DS6).  Failure to do so, or use of additional ADSL filters connected direct to your telephones, will cause problems in the operation of your Door Station Line Sharer and ADSL service. A suitable High Quality ADSL FILTER suitable for filtering your complete telephone line is available as an optional extra at a cost of $35.00 (see On Line Order facility), or can be purchased from any TELSTRA shop for the same price (model C10245E). Basic ADSL FILTERS, designed for separate connection to each telephone on your line (as usually supplied with ADSL modems) are not suitable. SECURITY ALARM OPERATION - Our Door Station Line Sharer is fully compatible with the use of a Dial Out SECURITY ALARM facility. Where a SECURITY ALARM with a DIAL OUT ALARM facility  is used on the same telephone line, it is ESSENTIAL to fit the Security Alarm  immediately ahead of the DOOR STATION Line Sharer Controller (Models DS1, DS2,DS3 or DS6).    Please Note - When Ordering your Door Station Line Sharer, you will also need to Order one or two Door Phones to be used with it, from the Door Phone Options section of this Web Site.
