The NP120 is a SIP interface solution for voice paging over an audio system such as a public announcement (PA) amplifier. It has an RJ45 network port for connection as a SIP device for integration into modern telephony and software phone systems.
SIP configuration is straightforward by accessing the device over an IP network and logging in to a control panel. The device can be set for DHCP or fixed IP address and in standard line or for peer-to-peer operation.
An internal line isolation transformer provides a balanced 600 ohm audio line output to an RCA jack. The operation includes automatic answering, programmable hang-up options and generation of audio tones to announce the call.
The NP120 allows connection of an input audio source, such as background music which is switched to the audio output port when an announcement call is not in progress.
