The DS6 PLUS is an indoor control module that can be used with Natcomm DP2 door phones and has an FXS phone port. This allows the DS5 to be connected to as a PBX extension, to a modem or router with phone extension port, or to an Analog Telephone Adaptor (ATA).
The distinct feature of the DS6 is the ability to dial out a number (DTMF dialling) when the door phone button is pressed. that can be programmed using phone keypad buttons.
Similar to the DS5, the DS6 can also work in hot-dial mode and signal an off-hook state when a visitor presses the door phone call button. The PBX (when programmed for hot-dial) can then route the call to one or more phones. After answering the call, the keypad of a connected phone can be used to allow gate or door entry by operating two relay contacts within the DS6.
