The NP50 is a multifunction industrial audio player for a variety of uses in providing audio background and triggered audio announcements. It can be configured to play audio tracks from a micro-SD card in sequence or in random order. In trigger mode, the NP50 will play one of 63 messages when triggered by a combination of 6 digital (switch) inputs.
A communications port allows triggering of tracks using a simple ASCII protocol over an RS232 connection.
Applications include background music systems, industrial safety messaging, PA announcement of recorded messages, and museum or exhibit displays where audio tracks are triggered from user activity.
